Book review: Halo by Alexandra Adornetto

I received a request from one of our lovely readers that we made a review of this book. I hope you like it =)

Title: Halo
Author: Alexandra Adornetto
Genre: Young adult, paranormal romance
series: Halo book 1

On the cover:
Three angels are sent down to bring good to
My rating
the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.
Is love a great enough power against evil?
My thoughts:
I really liked this book. It´s kind of a special one among the "angel-book family" for me because of how real it felt. You have this overprotective big brother and a big sister who is also very protective, really understanding and allowing at the same time. Beth struggles alot in this book. It´s her first time to earth and she would really like to enjoy herself and explore thing while she is here. When she meets Xavier she is forbidden to love him and her family wants her to stay away from him. This is something she can´t do and they find themselves completely inlove and have to face alot of obstacles in their way to happiness. This story contains love, excitement, nailbiting moments and of course some funny parts aswell. I really recommend it!
