Genre: Adult, contemporary romance

Madison Carter's life is perfect, or so she thinks. As the top interior designer in Atlanta, clients are clamoring to work with her. She has the town's most eligible and handsome bachelor, Connor Strickland, all wrapped up and ready to marry her. Best of all, she's left her tormented past back in Magnolia Cove. When she uncovers a secret about her fiance, she flees back to her family in Magnolia Cover - to a mother who loves her, a sister who despises her and a past full of the bullies who made her life miserable in high school. Can Christmas bring about new opportunities for love, business and forgiveness?

My thoughts:

First of all, I really wanted to like this book more than I did. I was so ready for a good Christmas read, but I must say I was disappointed. This book was to shallow to be good and frankly a bit corny at times.

Everything went by way to fast and the author only scratched the surface when it came to both the story line and the emotions and thoughts of the characters. That made it kind of hard to relate to the main characters Madison and Wyatt. The time frame was between thanks giving and Christmas and a lot happened during that time frame that just made it feel like you looked at a movie on fast forward.

This was an easy read but it was not really all that good. I could read it but there was nothing more to it really.
