Interview with Robin P. Waldrof! Author of Ties to the Blood Moon + Awesome giveaway of the book!
You can find my review of the book here!
Who is Robin P. Waldrop?
Robin hails from Miami, but lives in
Alabama with best friend, business partner, and husband John. She is a mother
of five, grandmother of six and 7/8, and owner of a variety of different
animals.
When she’s not working at her business with
her husband she’s found chained to her computer where she likes to play with
all her imaginary friends.
She is an award winning author who enjoys
writing edgy YA/Urban Fantasy, and FBI suspense/thriller novels and has won two editors choice awards . Always
a voracious reader with an unapologetic television addiction, Robin still
searches for the perfect cup of coffee.
- Where
did you find your inspiration for this novel?
It
started out as one of those crazy dreams. You know, the kind that you just
can’t get out of your mind. Once I realized it wasn’t going to go away until I
wrote about it, I knew I would have to create something far different than what
was already out there…so I did.
- How
would you describe the relationship between Gen and William without giving away
to much?
I think I
would have to say their relationship is the type we all dream about having.
Perfect, but with a few minor glitches.
- How
many books can we expect in this series?
There
will definitely be at least two more. Number two is already underway. I am
hoping for a series of four or five.
- Last
but not least.. Anything random that you would like to share with our readers?
I didn’t
start out writing YA urban fantasy. I never used to read it either. I was a die
hard suspense/thriller fan and writer, and thought that’s what I would always
be, and I also wrote in third person, not first. And then I had the dream that
changed my life for the better. I love the YA genre, and even more, I love
writing in first person.
