Saturday snapshot: cooking

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce @ AT Home With Books.
Share your photos with us! They can be old or new but should be taken by you!

Me and my son have been at home for almost two weeks! first my son got sick and then I got sick! Typical!
But since we had so much time together we made most of it and even though we didn´t feel all that well we had a cozy time together. So this picture is from last week, when he helped me with dinner. It is rare I have time to let him help since it is kind of a stressful event to have dinner ready as soon as possible when get home from work! It was the best time ever to be able to take my time with dinner together with my son. And he loved it. He was so proud of himself and didn´t talk about anything else during dinner.

How cute! I always loved helping out in the kitchen when I was little. Great picture.

He looks like he knows what he is doing.
Sometimes being sick has a positive side:being together and helping each other.

Skills in the kitchen! It's fun cooking with children, isn't it?

That is very sweet! So neat that you were able to do that with him!

One of the few good points about being ill is the forced slow down. Looks like you made the best of a bad situation.

We don't get to cook together very often either...but when we do, there are some fabulous memories made :):)

It's nice to get an upside to being sick, like lovely family time. It's a cute photo, he certainly looks like he's loving it.
