This week I want to highlight Jolene Perry. She writes beautifully, and she has such depth in her stories which I really like. She is really good in describing both emotions and the scenery in her books. She pulls you in with her words and you just have to keep reading and get to know these amazing characters and their stories. And I read Night Sky by her a while ago and wanted to share it with you. It is a really great read!

NIGHT SKY BY JOLENE PERRY

Girl I’ve loved, girl I’m falling for. Now that they’re both in view, the problem is clear.
After losing Sarah, the friend he’s loved, to some other guy, Jameson meets Sky. Her Native American roots, fluid movements, and need for brutal honesty become addictive fast. This is good. Jameson needs distraction – his dad leaves for another woman, his mom’s walking around like a zombie, and Sarah’s new boyfriend can’t keep his hands off of her.
As he spends time with Sky and learns about her village, her totems, and her friends with drums - she's way more than distraction. Jameson's falling for her fast.
But Sky’s need for honesty somehow doesn’t extend to her life story – and Jameson just may need more than his new girl to keep him distracted from the disaster of his senior year.                                           //Ad on goodreads//

This sounds interesting! I don't read that many contemporaries, which is a shame as I always enjoy them! For adult, I really like Sophie Kinsella''s books (not the shopaholic series.) Twenties Girl, I've Got Your Number, and Can You Keep A Secret? Are all fantastic! For YA, I have really enjoyed Stephanie Perkins novels: Anna and the French Kiss, and Lola and the Boy Next Door.

Hi :) thank you so much for those awesome recommendations! I've read one book by Kinsella and I loved it but in swedish so I don't know the original title of it! I've come across Perkins on a lot of blogs and I've been thinking I need to read something by her!
