TGIF is a fun little feature hosted at GReads! Every week we re-cap what has happened on the blog plus Ginger asks a question for us to answer.
This Friday's Question:
Bookshelf Tour: Where do you keep your books at home?
Are they organized?
Now, that is a really good question. And the Answer is: EVERYWHERE!
Okey so maybe not everywhere exactly. My most recent books I have in my bookshelf in the living room. Last time I counted my books (like 5 yrs ago) I have little over 300 book and the most of them are in my basement sadly. We don´t have room for all my books and well, when you move as often as I have you just don´t have the energy to unpack and repack and unpack all those book over and over.

This shelf is actually pretty neat. I mean like to have my books by Author but not necessarily in alphabetic order. I tend to organize them after the ones I like the best. But after a while things get a bit messy, since my son want to take every book I have and throw them on the floor. So I have to move my books higher and higher up and that means no room so well....

That is when my book shelf start to look like this! Very messy if you ask me. I like it more when it is a little more organized than it is in this picture.

I also have my books in Swedish on their own shelf I don´t like to mixed them. English books on one side and Swedish on the other side. They are not written by Swedish authors but they are translated in Swedish :)

Don't you just dread moving? I'm in the process of moving into a smaller place while our new house goes into construction. I'll be there for like a year and it's 2100 sq. feet smaller than my current place! Where are all my books gonna go. :(
New follower!
I don't think I could handle the moving all the time! We had to move all my books out of my room to re-do it and I nearly threw a fit when it came time to put them back on the shelf the way I want. I couldn't imagine having to do that all the time! Kudos to you. I think it is awesome that you have your own shelf for Swedish titles as well :)
