Question

It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?

Oooh this was a hard one! I´m going back and forth between two different series... First off we have Becca Fitzpatricks Hush Hush series and then we have Shannon Dermotts Cambion series. Both of them are hard to cast since for me there is no one that would be perfect as the role of Patch in the Hush Hush books. He is simply too damn perfect in my mind to cast as a real person.
The in the Cambion series I have a hard time casting Mercy. The boys in the other hand are a bit easier.
With this being said I will just go ahead and give you a bit of both =)

Cambion Series

Mercy
Audray de Macedo

Luke
Alex Pettyfer

Flynn
Shia Labeouf

Hush Hush Series

Nora
Emmy Rossum

Patch
Nope, I´m not even gonna try cuz it´s not possible to match.

Question

Share something you've learned about book blogging or just blogging in general in the last month.

Answer
Well actually I'm not sure I've learned something new exactly but we just started a youtube channel for this blog and my sister made her very first vlog post last Sunday. So I guess we've been learning to manage that channel a bit. Hopefully we will have a few more posts on that channel soon. Right now we need to figure out what kind of posts we want on there. Oh and if you have a channel let us know in the comment section so we can follow you!
If you are curious you can find it HERE --> Rather barefoot than bookless on youtube

How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

Well, I have a veery hard time to not finish a book that I have started. Not sure why but it kind of feels like a failure if I don´t finish it... Even though I might not like it.
It has to be an extremely bad book for me to not plow through it.

What about you?

Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?

Ooh This was hard! I would say Awolation - Sail reminds me of Beg for Mercy by Shannon Dermott. Everytime I hear it I think of Flynn. *sigh*

What about you?

Well for cecilia that would be dark paradice by Lana del rey. It reminds me so much of Spiritus by Dana Michelle Burnett!  If you have read the book and heard the song uou will know what I mean!

Okey, so to be honest I have no idea what RT, BEA and ALA is but after reading several bloggers answers I am guessing it´s sort of a book conventrion? Can someone fill me in? lol
Since i´m not living in USA I never have the oportunity to go to those kinds of events. *tears falling* heh

Have you ever read a book that you thought you would hate -- ? Did you end up hating it? Did you end up loving it? Or would you never do that?

Actually I would never do that. At least I don´t think I would.
But I had it the other way. One book that I really thought that I would love but I ended up really hating it. It was so bad that I didn´t even finish it. And then I hated it even more because it is the only book ever that I didn´t finish.

Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you’ve done, that as you gained more experience you were like — oops?

Wow that´s a hard one! We have probably done a LOT of newbie misstakes. And probably still do.
One of them is for example picking images straight from the web instead of doing our own ones. hmm.... Maybe that´t something we have to think about!

This weeks Question:

What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

My answer:

I would tell Stephanie Meyer to please please finish Midnight Sun already! I so want to read it and I know i´m not the only one.
Then I would tell Shannon Dermott to have Mercy end up with both Luke and Flynn! I know it´s weird but I really can´t choose between them. Maybe if she put it in 2 different books. That way we all get how we want it. A little bit of both and also more books to read in the process =) Yaay

TGIF and follow friday

TGIF is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger @ Greads.

This Friday´s question:
Taking it personal: Which book have effected you in a personal level and lingered in your mind long after you closed the pages?

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

Since this this answer works on both these questions I put them together this week.

You might find my answer to this question a bit strange. Actually I´m not even sure why this book effected me so much. I read the twilight series a few years back. It was around the time the first movie twilight was on the cinemas. I went my last year at the university and I had not read anything really for pleasure for a few years because of school. You see I can´t read a book for pleasure at the same time I need to study and read books for school, because I get completely trapped in that book.  I can´t put it down and concentrate on school so I stopped reading all together. But the I saw this movie Twilight and really enjoyed it. I saw that this movie was based on the books by Stephanie Meyer and by some reason I decided to order the books home. I read them all during christmas break. And they just got stuck with me. I loved the character of Bella. She was so awkward and I could totally relate to that. Like I said I can´t really say why I liked it so much but there was just something in this story that just talked to me on some level. I don´t know. I really loved it and it was this book that got me started reading again. This book is what got me in to this genre in the first place.

Book blogger hop #7 and Follow Friday #2

Book Blogger Hop
Hosted by Crazy for books
Book Blogger Hop

Question of the week:
What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t.

That would be  detective stories. My mom loves them and I have read one or two but I just don´t seem to be able to finish them. And then there is science fiction. My dad loves them but me not so much and that is kind of weird in a way, because at some level it is kind of like fantasy and I love fantasy but I just can´t seem to like sci-fi all that much!

Follow Friday Hosted by Parajunkee's view
Question of the week:
Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

Three? Well I think I have to say Richelle Mead, Aprilynne Pike and Marian Keyes. I would love to just ask them questions about their writing. What inspires them. I would also ask them for a tip or two, cause I would love to write my own story one day!

Friday question #2 and FOLLOW FRIDAY #1

TGIF is a fun little feature hosted at GReads! Every week we re-cap what has happened on the blog plus Ginger asks a question for us to answer. This week’s question is:
What are some of your favorite book quotes?
Wow, not an easy question this week. I am so bad at remembering where the goodies are. But I will give it a shot. I will only choose from books I´ve read recently, since I have no idea how I will found anything else *LoL*
Kiss of death by Rachel Caine
"Claire glared at her new ipod - which was actually really nice - and put it on random shuffle as she looked at the mess she´d made of her latest laundry effort. And there was the problem: she loved the hot pink ipod, whicj had been a heck of a good bribe, and she really didn´t deserve it, because the laundry was....
.... also pink - which would have been almost fine if it had been a load full of girls´ underwear or something. But not s much with guy clothes....."

Halo by Alexandra Adornetto
"I frose. I could not believe I was going to have to announce to everyone that I had brought along the wrong books to the very first class. How incompetent would I seem? I opend my mouth to begin an apology just as Xavier Woods slid his book inconspicuously."

Like the flowing river by Paulo Coelho
When you start to climb the mountain of your dreams, pay attention to what is around you. There are, of course, precipices- There are almost imperceptible cracks. There are stones polished so smooth by rain and wind that they become as slippery as ice. But if you know where you are putting your foot, you will see any traps and be able to avoid them."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!

Todays question: Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

My Awnser: Right now I would say my favorite genre is paranormal romance and my favoritebook - though that changes a lot -  is WINGS by Aprilynne Pike
